๐Ÿ“ธ Hereโ€™s a snap of a client we saw recently, needing some relief from on-going heel and foot pain.

๐Ÿค” After some thorough assessments, we were suspicious of plantar fasciitis or plantar heel pain and proceeded to treat and rehabilitate accordingly.

๐Ÿ‘† After a few sessions of seeing this client, with only short lived improvements, we used medical acupuncture here toโ€ฆ

๐Ÿ‘‰ Reduce pain in the area as the needle insertion creates a release of endorphins which act as a natural painkiller.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Increase blood flow to the area which in turn promotes healing and therefore can kick start the healing process.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Create a muscle twitch response in the lower calf muscles which helped them to relax and become less tense.

๐Ÿ™ With the combination of manual therapy plus some corrective and loading exercises, weโ€™ve had some breakthrough success for our client, ensuring their pain has reduced and they are moving better and ultimately getting back to their sport.

โ“ Do you think medical acupuncture could help you? It doesnโ€™t have to be heel pain you are suffering with. Ask us if you think this could benefit you ๐Ÿ‘
